We’ve deployed our favorite tricks, materials and technologies from our legendary MTB and road collections, to create adventure specific garments that are ready to tackle every surface. With input and wear testing by world class adventure cyclists including James Hayden, it’s designed to take on whatever you find in front of your handlebars, curly or straight.
The first GV500 products are carefully designed to work as a system, supplying ample storage for epic day-long to multi-day adventures whilst keeping a bulk-free, streamlined fit.
GV500 Reiver Bibshorts
Bibshorts with added cargo carrying capacity. They use a trick pioneered by one of our original products (the venerable MT500 shorts) with a double layer panel on the outer thigh to protect the rider – and shorts – in the event of a crash or a brush with the undergrowth. Lightweight stretch woven fabrics and lumbar support panel borrowed from the new Pro SL Bibshort’s design provide a fantastic compressive fit, securing them in place no matter how hard or far you ride. Silicone strips on the lower back help hold a baggy in place if worn as an under short, designed to work perfectly with the GV500 Foyle baggy shorts. Large mesh pockets on the back secure essentials while mesh side leg pockets provide a great way of carrying snacks that can get accessed quickly and easily.
GV500 Foyle Shorts
Slim cut baggy shorts designed to work perfectly with the GV500 Reiver Bibshorts for a more casual look without compromising on long distance performance. A lightweight, full stretch woven fabric with a PFC-Free, non-toxic durable water repellent finish in a slim cut fit to provide that flap free, barely there feeling.
Zipped front hand pockets store away your essential, and their partial mesh bags aid ventilation, as do the laser cut perforated vents of the shorts. Zipped thigh openings double up as vents, too, and provide access to the aligned GV500 Reiver Bibshort cargo pockets. Although engineered to work perfectly with the GV500 bibshort, these shorts feature our renowned Clickfast system, meaning they integrate with any of our liner shorts.
GV500 Reiver Short Sleeve Jersey
A feature packed jersey for all sorts of adventures – long, short or in-between. The main body of the jersey is constructed from a rapid wicking, lightweight, recycled knit fabric with a subtle tech look. Critically positioned mesh panels provide great ventilation and there are loads of pockets, from the zipped chest and rear security pockets, to the three open rear pockets plus large, easily accessed side mesh stash pockets.
GV500 Foyle T
A more casual looking short sleeve top made from a rapid wicking, lightweight merino-blend knit main body fabric regulates temperatures in a wide variety of conditions and keeps odors at bay when you’re on multi-day trips and don’t want to offend the next table in the café. Like the jersey, the T features super-stretch woven fabric on the sleeves for extra durability and critically positioned mesh panels for superior ventilation. Further details include a zipped rear side security pocket and articulated sleeves for a bike ready fit.
