Having stepped out of WorldTour sponsorship for now, partly in recognition that innovation has been frustrated by regulation, we’ve refocus on their rugged heritage in making no-nonsense kit for Hardcore Roadies like Graeme Obree, the Scottish company’s Disrupter in Chief.
Endura were the first to produce a bibshort in multiple pad widths by launching the game changing, award winning Pro SLs. Although others have tried to copy the idea, they’ve not been able to outperform them. We’re not the sort to rest on our laurels, so we’ve remastered them for 2020. With a more aggressive fit and continually evolving pad technology, it is perfectly suited to the sort of rider that favors an extra lap over an extra latte. The best just got better.
The most comfortable bibshorts we’ve ever made. That’s the feedback from everyone who has ridden them so far. We started from scratch when re-designing our flagship bibshort. Our unique, multi fabric construction has been engineered to be supportive and compressive where you need it, whilst allowing for unrestricted movement. An impressive, pre-shaped panel design delivers a true on bike specific fit that’s immediately apparent when you put them on.
One of the keys to this bibshort’s comfort is the lumbar support panel. This panel made from high powered Italian fabric wraps around your lower back and sides, holding the bibshort firmly in place and taking some pressure off the straps, giving them a barely there feel for even the longest of rides. High quality Italian Lycra® has been used throughout, treated with coldblack® technology that dramatically reduces heat build-up and provides UPF50 protection. Long leg options (+4cm) are also available to finely tune that tan line.
Our 700 series pad, available in the Pro SL Bibshort and Bibtight, was developed through scientific testing in collaboration with bike fit experts gebioMized® and refined with feedback from WorldTour riders. It’s available in three widths to give semi-custom fit to better match a rider’s pelvic shape, saddle and riding position. Our high tech Continuously Variable Profile pad technology provides supportive padding only where required, with all superfluous material removed to minimize bunching and friction and maximize moisture transfer and flexibility. The high stretch, fast wicking polyamide / Lycra® face fabric and multi-density open cell foam sandwich with flame lamination bonding provide outstanding stretch and moisture transfer while the 3D front mesh zone improves air circulation.
